No, it’s not another deodorant commercial, but rather the results of Max Mosley’s vote of confidence are in. And the results may surprise you:
The final verdict – Mosley stays; by a vote of 103-55, although 4 votes were invalid and 7 representatives were absent.
What does this mean? Well it means that not only Mosley will stay as president of the FIA, but it appears that car clubs throughout the world (i.e AAA, who have wanted Mosley to go from the beginning) don’t see a problem with their leader having fun time with Nazi prostitutes and having it videotaped and posted on the internet for the world to see.
It also means that Bernie Ecclestone and Mosley are now buddy-buddy again after speculation that Max and Bernie’s relationship had become ‘strained’ after this scandal was first reported.
It appears all is well now within the FIA, for the time being, all we need now for it to be perfect is a USGP on the 2009 schedule.
