Honda knows something that Ferrari doesn’t

by

EDIT: Many thanks to Miguel for writing a post on the same topic as me at the SAME TIME.

Just as Ferrari quits using their (obviously not properly functional) lighted lollipop system, Honda has decided that they know better than Ferrari how to run a successful team. THEREFORE, they are using the lightup toy.

WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?

This system has caused Felipe Massa to receive two separate penalties for pulling into the pitlane ahead of another car, and after it nearly caused a serious mishap at Singapore when Massa left the pitlane with the fuel hose attached, Ferrari have decided that the potential for mishap far outweighs the gains in track position afforded by the lightup thingy. So this begs the question: Why does Honda insist upon using something that Ferrari won’t use? Probably the same reason that they aren’t winning races!
