At the Japanese Grand Prix, Sebastien Bourdais was having a good day running in sixth. At least, until he left the pitlane and Felipe Massa attempted to run him off the road. Bourdais refused and fought back, and Massa spun when he touched Bourdais’s car. Against the opinion of pretty much everybody who saw the incident, BOURDAIS was given a penalty when he had nowhere to go except off the inside of the corner.
This incident and penalty led F1-Live.com to write a headline of “Bourdais penalized for racing a Ferrari.” However, under(I’m assuming) pressure from either the FIA or from Ferrari, this was changed to “Bourdais penalized for…racing…”.
WE AT CUTTING THROUGH THE RONSPEAK ARE NOT WUSSES. THEREFORE….
BOURDAIS WAS PENALIZED FOR RACING A FERRARI.
We expect the lawsuits to fly any moment now.
